This is a dandy mickle for $59 delivered. I don’t know what I was expecting. Perchance some hollow sounding computer eccentric sub-woofer that pops when I act it on and off. This sub has a 50-watt RMS amp at 5ohm. It has a properly .5 inch MFD box with an internal space of near 10.5 X 10.5 (small!) External is near 11.4 x 11.4 x 11.5 height. It’s much ameliorate made than the Sony’s on this site. They eventide made a small endeavour to bear the box with 1-inch corner braces on altogether 6 sides. The sub sounds dandy at lower volume. It maxis away fast though. In a small room or apartment, you wouldn’t need it any louder. It’s the quality of healthy that’s important, and that’s where this delivers. Up to it’s distortion point, it sounds like a true big sub-woofer. This is the perfect sub for anybody who is not allowed to handshake the foundation. This sub plays deep! It only hits its max excursion fast. Either the amp is more than 50 watts or the speaker can’t hold much wattage. Speaking of the speaker, it’s near 5lbs. They seemed to receive glued a smaller magnet onto the larger one at the base. I’ve discovered of some seedy speaker manufactures doing this, only this speaker seems to deliver jolly good quality. I swapped away the stock speaker with a Dayton and secured the walls with cover braces and then covered the inside walls with carpet. Foam would have up to much space and there isn’t much inside already. This setup was a pleasure to mold with. The grill pops properly off. The speaker is kept on by 4 screws in the standard speaker hole location. (making it easy to replace) The amp is kept on by 8 screws. The port is kept in office largely by a closely matched and some glue that easily breaks loose. The amp is connected to the speaker with standard removable connectors. That’s it. It takes near 3-5 min to have apart. Equally for the Dayton, it performs near the same equally the stock one. It was made for a little act bigger box, only I wanted to know if the stock speaker was unable to hold much or was it the amp that produced the power. It seems to exist the amp. It could button a stronger speaker. If I received a 100 watt 8″ speaker with a high SPL, made for a small-ported box, and good excursion level (that’s the measure of motion on a speaker), then I would actually need the additional bracing. Trouble is, that would price much more than this altogether system. That, and I wouldn’t exercise a .5-inch thick box. Where am I locomoting with this… anyway, this sub is worth every cent of $59. If you receive a posed of properly bookshelf speakers and a sub-woofer away jack on your amp that you’re not using, you would exist a fool not to get this. To cut costs, it has no motorcar on/off, and no exit through signal. If you must receive motorcar on/off, buy a remote moderate on/off powerfulness provide from somewhere cheap. I received one left over from my X-mass lights. (or exercise the powerfulness connection on the back of your receiver if you receive one). This sub doesn’t pop at altogether when turned on or exit and its amp is inside the box. This sub is much ameliorate looking than a Sony I have. If the individual before me didn’t didn’t hand this 4 stars, I wouldn’t receive tested this out. Thus thanks! I’m identical felicitous I purchased this. I think its thence cheap people are afraid of it! I don’t know how they construct money on this. (update 1-11-08) to clarify the wattage on these: output powerfulness on the spec sail is rated at 5ohms. 50 watts to 5 ohms RMS and 100 dynamic. It has a 6ohm speaker in it. That agency it’s believably pushing near 45 watts RMS to the speaker. The frequency response is -4db at 40hz, -10db at 30hz, -15db at 25hz. It has a properly apartment response from 45hz to 120hz at 90db. It then tapers exit to -5db at 200hz. Not bad for $59 !!! Update 1-15-07 Here’s a FYI given to me: The instant magnet glued on the back of the driver magnet is for shielding. It is not there to deceive. The instant magnet is attached in polar opposite to the functional magnet, canceling the magnetic pollution it would unremarkably hand off. (Thanks Kevin!)

It is hard to pulsation a calculator that has this functionality for but over ten bucks. It would be perfect for what I want with one exception. You CANNOT directly enter exponential notation. They have an ENG button, but it is purely for formatting the display formerly the calculation is done. Pronounce What?

This makes the calculator altogether annoying for Electronics calculations applying Inductors, Capacitors, Frequency. Basically anything over basic DC circuits.

I should be able to enter the value of a 40 mH inductor as 40[ENG](-)6, but with this calculator I have to usage 40[x][SHIFT][10^X](-)6.

That gets annoying when you are applying Inductor, Capacitor and MHz (10^6) frequency values in one quick calculation.

Oh, well. Construct certainly you don’t need this before you purchase it. A dandy price is entirely a dandy value if the production is useful for you.

Edit: OK, after playing around more with this calculator, I’m bountiful it one more star. The 10^x issue isn’t as annoying. You are not postulated to multiple before posing a 10^x function on something. This helps a little. It would be much ameliorate if ENG worked as it should, but this is a good calculator for the price.

My tikes are brutal with our stuff – drives me crazy. We receive a 2006 Odyssey and a 2007 MDX. The levelheaded is clearer, the ambit is better and it seems like they don’t receive to be headed just at the unit to still get quality sound. Another advantage is that you could placed 2 AA batteries in the sets vs. 1 one the OEMs. As an other reviewer headed out, you do receive to receive the tikes turn perish the powerfulness button afterwards use, but my tikes are good near this always since I placed their names on the headsets and made a principle that your batteries could only be changed erst a month. The iP100 is named a “Mobile Photograph Printer”. Almost that I wouldn’t know, equally I did not purchase it for that purpose. I opine that it could exist employed in that way – you may even purchase what seems alike a kinda clunky add-on battery. However, to exist honest, it seems also large to exist mobile because it is not just a picture printer – it needs to exist big decent to exist able to hold letter sized paper. (For dedicated mobile picture printing, I usage the old CP-100 which is designed only for photos and is little decent to exist portable. It works straightaway with my Canon cameras, and it does a very good job, though I expect that the newer models are nearly plausibly even better. Of course,the iP100 has the advantage of being able to print letter sized photos.)
As a little auxiliary printer for a low-demand placement, the iP 100 is excellent. It is relatively fast – though not near the swiftness of a good HP Laserjet – and it prints beautifully – colors are accurate, print is clean and legible. It is too kinda quiet, surely a destiny quieter than our situation Laserjets. It is quite nice looking with its trays closed – the reception tray does have a tendency to drib the printed pages on the floor. Finally, it seems to exist quite reliable. I am very pleased with it, just remember that I don’t usage it to print mobile photos – or any photos – we have a Pixma for the non-mobile picture printing. Given how it prints, web colors, I would estimate that it would do a good line with pics, just you should find mortal with more have than I to evaluate that aspect. As should exist evident, we have a routine of Canon productions – I have not a bad word to enunciate nearly any of them. Installation is easy-easy, customer stand (the one time a Canon printer malfunctioned) is excellent – we received a replacement in two days. Other companies may exist better, just we stick with Canon because their stuff is simple, tardily to use, reliable and inexpensive. Dreary for all the digressions.
